Hi Johusan, It is good to see you doing 'proper planning' for your upcoming system build. If you look near the top of the QVL Memory page it gives the following info: Note1: 4PCS= dual channel, supports 4 modules Note2: 2PCS = tested successfully with 2 modules So there is the answer to the first part of your question. The answer to your second part, is only speculative. The 'v' could likely mean 'verifying' in one column and possibly 'verified' in another column. Also it could mean something else entirely.... |

For example, if Quad Channel display 4pcs it means the memory could only install in A1, B1, C1, D1 (total 4pcs) with Quad Channel. But if it display v it means the memory could install in A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2, D1, D2 (total 8pcs) with Quad Channel.
