" rel="nofollow - Windows 10, Striped Screen coming out of sleep. Ongoing issue over the last few years. In most cases motherboard manufacturers have updated the bios in the last year to resolve. I know that this motherboard is in mothballs even though it is still being sold but I am sure that people would appreciate an update. Note applies to 530 and 630 Intel video so I assume that ASRock has more than one board affected.
I am running Windows 10 1709 and the current video from Intel 16.4815.
Here is the current link to the Intel forum on the issue. https://communities.intel.com/thread/116427?start=75&tstart=0
Here is the current link to the Microsoft forum on the issue https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-power/vertical-lines-on-screen-after-waking-laptop-from/c4877ef3-5f10-4b58-8ff4-9c526396c626?auth=1&rtAction=1509475263540

" rel="nofollow - Your board and other ASRock Z170 boards have recent UEFI/BIOS updates. For example, your board has a Beta UEFI version with the CPU microcode update to fix the Intel Hyper-Threading bug, dated 7/17/2017:

If an Intel VBIOS update (part of the UEFI/BIOS) for the iGPU fixes this issue, then a UEFI update will be issued at some time.
So you know that a UEFI/BIOS update fixes this issue? I see one for some Dell pre-built PCs apparently, but there are others?

I will go review the other one I saw for a different board. I agree I have seen 2 or 3 notes for Dell. I will try the beta. No I don't know that the bios alone will fix it. I dropped from the Insider program earlier this year mainly because of this issue and how each time I would resolve it with an intel update I would get stuck with another update from Microsoft that would break it. I was rock steady until the recent major win 10 update to 1709 and both 530 updates (Microsoft and Intel are not resolving it). Intel is working on the issue but their comments have also chatted about bios. I will update again in a few days if I find something else.
