" rel="nofollow - I've been having some problems with the geil ram i bought, and i've been looking at the Team T-Force night hawk 3000mhz ram. Does anyone know if this one has compatibility issues as well or is it OK to buy?

to be of any help we really would need more detailed info on the ram sticks

for all we know you could have some really nice geil with samsung b dies
and want to change it for some cheaply made team group with hynix dies

a more sensible approach would be to post the exact model of geils and let us try to help you figure out whats the matter with them

most of the time its merely a poor choice of default xmp settings designed to work with intel and not adjusting nicely for the am4 ryzen settings

" rel="nofollow - Like what problems are you having?  I have the same board and the RAM configuration is tricky.  If you have two dimms running in dual channel you need to put them in A2 and B2.  No other configs work I believe.

It's a boot loop. The geil ram I have now is putting it in a 30 second power cycle but with some 2400 mhz corsair vengeance lpx 8gb ram stick I was able to get into windows and all that.

I believe that this is the link to the geil ram that I have. In amother reply below I specify what the problem is.
