I'd like to see what kind of voltage drops other owners of the ASRock AB350 series see when they run a stress test. Overall, my Pro4 has been fairly good to me, but the lack of LLC hurts. Whereas some owners of boards with LLC can run a Ryzen 5 1600 at 3.8GHz at 1.30v or lower, I'm forced to run at 1.35v to counter the near 0.1v drop in core voltage. Higher voltage = higher temps.
If anyone is willing, I'd like to see a screenshot taken of HWiNFO64 taken during a stress test. Something like Prime95, or in my case Aida64 stressing CPU/FPU/Cache. 15 minutes should be plenty of time to get a 'lowest' vcore reading. I'd like to know what voltage you have set in the bios, what CPU, what board, and the screenshot should show how low your vcore is dropping.
I wish I'd done more homework prior to purchasing as I definitely wouldn't have purchased this board. I'd love to get my hands on a Taichi, but I need to know if my Pro4 is worse than others, or performing as expected. My two screenshots will be examples of what I'm looking for.
3.8GHz overclock with 1.350v set in bios. This was taken after(during) 4.5hrs of overclock stability testing with Aida64. You can see my vcore has dropped to as low as 1.256 (-0.094).
I also noticed my screenshots cropped out the four column names. <Current> <Min> <Max> <Average>
3.9 GHz overclock with 1.4125v set in bios. -0.0875 drop.
For the record, I'm unable to get 4GHz stable for longer than 30 seconds at 1.45v. I'm afraid to go higher. My Setup if anyone is interested. https://pcpartpicker.com/b/F2mqqs" rel="nofollow - https://pcpartpicker.com/b/F2mqqs
