Hello i tried to run a virtual machine on vmware but it displayed that message: This host supports AMD-V, but AMD-V is disabled. AMD-V might be disabled if it has been disabled in the BIOS/firmware settings or the host has not been power-cycled since changing this setting. (1) Verify that the BIOS/firmware settings enable AMD-V. (2) Power-cycle the host if this BIOS/firmware setting has been changed. (3) Power-cycle the host if you have not done so since installing VMware Player. (4) Update the host's BIOS/firmware to the latest version. This host does not support "AMD RVI" hardware assisted MMU virtualization. Failed to start the virtual machine. also i cannot find on bios any option for enabling amd-v help me please. |

Dear f814030, Greetings, this is ASRock TSD. About your question, please follow below steps for setting: 1. Please reboot the system and then press [Delete] to enter the BIOS setup. 2. BIOS > Advanced > CPU Configuration > SVM Mode -> set enabled 3. BIOS > Advanced > North Bridge Configuration > IOMMU -> set enabled. After that, please press F10 to save the setting. Thanks! Tip/Hint: There can only be one Hypervisor active at a time. So either Hyper-V or some other. |

ran DDU and made clean drivers setup didn't help. |
