Intel i7-8700k
Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4, 2x16GB, 3200MHz, CL16 (CMK32GX4M2D3200C16)

and now I would like to confirm if Your motherboard supports one of following M.2 SSD (NGFF) Modules (unfortunately they are not listed on the page).

Samsung SSD 960 EVO NVMe M.2 500GB MZ-V6E500BW (https://www.samsung.com/us/computing/memory-storage/solid-state-drives/ssd-960-evo-m-2-500gb-mz-v6e500bw/)

I use the samsung 960evo 500gb on this motherboard just fine. (boot drive)

Also have a 950pro 512gb and have no problems with that either.
Tbh, i think all new motherboards work with all nvme drives. Never heard of any that didn't.

Just update your bios to 1.20 and update firmware on the drive trough samsung magician.

Forgot to mention that you need to install the samsung nvme driver 2.3, asmedia sata drivers and the intel components to get the full speed.
http://www.samsung.com/semiconductor/minisite/ssd/download/tools.html" rel="nofollow - http://www.samsung.com/semiconductor/minisite/ssd/download/tools.html
and just use the asrock app shop for the other drivers.

" rel="nofollow - Hello! I've a trouble with Turbo Boost on Fatal1ty Z370 Gaming K6.

Here's my configuration:
Intel Core i5-8600K (ES);
Cryorig R1 Ultimate + Noctua NT-H1;
G.Skill TridentZ F4-3200C15D-16GTZKO (2x8 GB, 3200 MHz, 15-15-15-35-2T, 1,35 V);
MSI GTX 780Ti Gaming 3G (GeForce GTX 780Ti);
Silicon Power Slim S55 (240 GB, SATA 6 Gbit/s, AHCI mode);
SilverStone SST-ST65F-PT (650 W);

Windows 10 Pro x64 (10.0.16299.64);
Intel Chipset Software Installation Utility (10.1.1.44), Intel Management Engine Interface (11.7.0.1037), Intel IGP Driver (22.20.16.4785), Intel Rapid Storage Technology Driver (15.8.1.1007), GeForce 385.69 (22.21.13.8569), PhysX 9.17.0524.

I used all of microcodes/UEFI (for today - three final and one beta). A problem is same all the time.
Settings are default, active state of XMP does not matter (tried both states).

Well, there are too low FPS in lot of games with MAX video quality.
Let's check Hitman: Absolution. I used MSI Afterburner with OSD and chosed CPU Temperature and Clock into it.
In game benchmark CPU Frequency is like stock index (2100-800-1200- ... 4100 MHz). Temperatues are not higher then 55 °C.
When I use a medium preset for image quality FPS is normal. CPU Frequency are 4,1 GHz all the time.

If I fixed CPU Frequency in UEFI (using multiplier) then FPS is normal even high image preset.

So, what the problem with mobo? ASUS and MSI haven't any problem with default settings. Of couse, I can overclock the CPU, but if I want to use a default settings?

Anybody?
Here's some proofs:
1. Medium preset.
2. Ultra preset.
3. Ultra preset + Windows 10 Power Options "High Performance" (min. state for CPU is 100%).

Why are you installing the CPU's IGP driver when you are running the 780ti?

Uninstall it and the current 385.69, reboot, correct in BIOS to reflect running the 780ti, into windows, to https://www.geforce.com/drivers , and install the latest 388.31 780ti drivers, reboot immediately after and retest.

I installed Windows 10 with int. GPU (HD 630).
Then installed all drivers for Intel (and ASMedia, Realtek etc.).
Then mounted 780 Ti. Installed latest driver (Windows 10 found it without my help).
Checked a trouble.
Then I installed old Nvidia driver, there no problem with it when I used other mobos a few weeks ago.

Unfortunately, clean install of Windows 10 don't a solutions, I was try.
Many ways with drivers too.
We can see bad CPU Frequency (Speed Step? Speed Shift? Turbo Boost?).
Nvidia drivers are not a problem because of this.

" rel="nofollow - Does anyone know with the Fatal1ty Z370 Gaming-ITX/ac motherboard if you can pass discrete graphics (1080 ti) through the built-on thunderbolt 3 port on the motherboard to a thunderbolt monitor.  I know this used to be possible with software like lucid virtu mvp, but I don't think that software is supported anymore.  Is this a problem of the past or is it still a current issue where you must output from the graphics card only?

" rel="nofollow - Does anyone know how can I connect such a cable (USB 3.1 Type-C) http://www.lian-li.com/en/dt_portfolio/pw-ic01nh45/ to Fatal1ty Z370 Gaming-ITX/ac motherboard? Are there any connector or something?

HD 630 (Intel GPU) disabled after start usage the other videocard. So, how you want to connect monitor to other adapter (like 1080Ti) with ports on motherboard? Forget about Lucid Virtu soft.

You need this adapter for your mobo:

I'm sorry. Windows found a 388.13.
Whatever, after uninstall IGPU drivers and change Nvidia from old to 388.31 nothing changed.

A problem is mobo. I returned it to my partners.
Interesting, all of ASRock Z370 have this bug?
I hope, engineers fix it.

Good luck.

OK thx but this is USB 3.1 to USB 3.0 Converter. So now I have to connect two 3.0 port (they were using USB 3.1 Gen1 Header) from my case to some other header, any ideas? Now on motherboard I have only USB 2.0 header empty.

" rel="nofollow - Well, you need an other mobo :-)
USB 2.0 is not 3.1 Gen1 and of course not 3.1 Gen2.
Now you can try to use something like this:

Was also wondering about this. Want to use a Thunderbolt extender hub but need to know if dedicated GPU pass-through is possible via the onboard thunderbolt port??

Similar to what the Asus ThunderboltEX 3 would be providing??

Maybe use the pcie bifurcation option if the onboard does not support this?
