" rel="nofollow - I have a question about the CPU backplate. Is it fixed/attached to the AsRock AB350M Pro4 Micro ATX motherboard, so if I change the CPU or cooler, will it fall free from the board itself once the cooler is removed?

The backplate is detachable. Some coolers come with their own, others use the stock one. Each cooler should come with it's own instructions describing the process for installation  -------------
