Will ASRock release firmware updates, especially for legacy products like "Z97 Anniversary"?

" rel="nofollow - Based on the ASRock official page:
"If your model Intel 100/200/300 series but not in the following list, please download ME1 package
If your model is Q170 series or in the following list, please download ME2 package"

Should I download and run the ME1 package?

" rel="nofollow - Also, I don't feel comfortable downloading files from 3rd part sites like Bitgravity.
Should I wait till ASRock updates the motherboard support pages?

I am told the updates will be available on ASRock's website soon. If you are uncomfortable with the links posted in this thread you won't have to wait too long for the official links to go up.

From what I understand, there is a chance that changes could be made before the official release, how likely that is however I don't know. Personally, I would wait.

Thanks.  Good to know.

I'll wait.

Definitely wait! I installed  the ME1 patch mentioned above and it messed up my PC: http://forum.asrock.com/forum_posts.asp%3FTID=6667&PID=39882&title=intel-management-engine-vulnerability-sa00086#39882" rel="nofollow - http://forum.asrock.com/forum_posts.asp%3FTID=6667&PID=39882&title=intel-management-engine-vulnerability-sa00086#39882

Got everything back to normal by re-flashing my existing BIOS (which undid the ME1 patch).

So, yeah. Wait.
