Hi,

I have a ASRock Z790 Steel Legend running a i7-13700k, and I'm wondering if I can set a minimum voltage value for when the CPU is under load.

For some reason, I can't set the CPU CORE/Cache Load-Line Calibration to levels below Level 3, I though that as a workaround I could maybe limit the minimum voltage at which Vdrop would reach?

Thanks in advance,
Cheers

Update:
I was able to set Load-Line Calibration to level 1 by changing CPU CORE/Cache Voltage to Fixed mode, but that doesn't seem to change anything performance wise.
My CPU still drops from 1.323 V to 1.050 V under heavy load.
I tried disabling/enabling xmp, enabling/disabling OC mode in the voltage configuration. Doesn't seem to have nay effect...

I wouldn't mind a little drop but this is huge!
Anyone know how I could limit the drop so I could get around 1.15-1.2 V at least?

I have Z790 RIPTIDE, after window update This Saturday 2/22/2025, I cannot use PHANTOM GAMING Tuning UTILITY - It was undervolted from TUNING utility. Suddenly my 14700k CPU is going high as 100 Degree while gaming.

And now MY AIO seems like DYING too.

And went into bios to undervolt, but you can only find LEVEL 1 to 10 loadlevel. I set it to LOAD LEVEL 3

And Bluescreen - it was saying microcoded BSD

And now I reset my computer to beginning. And still getting HOT as 90 degrees.

Anyways I talk to INTEL, and they are sending me new 14700k..

Now using 14900k, now I have to buy NEW AIO. - I dont think you can't fix it, if you update window 11.... I think it is WINDOW 11 update..

You might not be able to set a strict minimum voltage, but adjusting the Load-Line Calibration (LLC) is usually the way to control Vdroop. If you're stuck at Level 3 or higher, you could try tweaking the Vcore offset or adaptive voltage settings to maintain stability under load . Also, check if any BIOS updates address LLC limitations for your board https://friendsrocksalt.com/" rel="nofollow - https://friendsrocksalt.com/ .
