" rel="nofollow - Hi everyone, before I begin with my problem I want to state my pc's specs.

CPU: Ryzen 3 1200 overclocked to 3.8Ghz stock cooler

Motherboard: Asrock AB 350 Mitx

Graphics card: GIGABYTE GTX1060 WF OC 3GB 2DHDP

Ram: CRUCIAL 8GB 2X4 D4 2400 SPLT CL16

Case: THERMALTA CORE V1 MITX CHASSIS

Fans: 1200 x 200 x 30 mm fan intake and 2 ANTEC PRO 80MM CASE FAN to exhaust

Wanted to add one final thing, the two 80mm fans are connected to the motherboard via a splitter because there is only enough connections for 1 cpu and 2 fans (I have 1 cpu and 3 fans)

I have narrowed the noise down to the two 80 mm fans in the back and when I looked at the UEFI, they were going at close to 3k RPM. I tried silencing them using the Bios software of the motherboard, but they are not slowing down. What should I do to quiet them?

" rel="nofollow - These Antecs are screamers for sure! They are rated for 2600RPM which is nowhere near silent.

Since the Antecs are not PWM any 3-pin fan header should do, even with a Y-split.

Maybe the fan header you are now using is not controllable? What does your mobo manual say about this?

If all else fails, you can always use these: https://noctua.at/en/nf-a8-flx They are nice fans with much lower noise and much more CFM/pressure than the Antecs.

Even when I connected one of them straight into the motherboard, the bios settings I changed had no effect on them.  the manual has very little info and just brief description of the features.

" rel="nofollow - Did you connect them to a 4-pin headers? If mobo has no sensing for 3- or 4-pin fans it may not be regulating them properly.

4-pin fans are regulated via the PWM signal (4-th wire). 3-pin fans are regulated via voltage reduction. Do you see what I'm trying to tell you here? :-)
