" rel="nofollow - MY three year old computer that has functioned very well for three years is suddenly having booting issues. They started happening every once in a while (Couple of days) and now it is happening several times a day.

It goes right into the screen that says the Bios Settings have been reset to default and asks if you would like to enter set up or click F1 to continue. The strange thing is. Whenever I click F1 it boots right into Windows, no problem. And the computer functions perfectly.

Does anyone know what this could be or how I can run it down?

I am starting to think this may be related to the CMOS Battery. It only happens when I shut off the power strip to the computer.

Any thoughts? Please don't everyone respond at once.

CR 2032 CMOS

Thanks
