Hi, I just built a new system with an x370 Taichi and I am getting the post code d2.
Parts list: r7 1700 (stock cooler) x370 taichi 2x8GB G.Skill tridentZ Asus rx 580 Samsung 960 evo 250GB Seasonic 850W fully modular PSU Fractal design define C
I should also mention that I've removed the SSD and GPU, and reseated the memory for testing. The error code d2 is not listed on Asrock's Dr. Debug page,
Thanks

Disable cache before memory detection. Execute full memory sizing. Verify the boot block checksum ..

" rel="nofollow - kevin, D2 - PCH initialization error http://forum.hwbot.org/showthread.php?t=16017 link. I don't have a clue what Prodif is suggesting. Enjoy, John.

" rel="nofollow - I also land on a d2 error code. Normally 64GB Corsair RAM, but I removed two of four DIMMs for debugging purposes. Rest of parts... Gigabyte GTX 1070, Seasonic 1250W Platinum, LSI 9267 RAID controller, Qty(2) 8TB Western Digital Caviar Black (plus a pair of Nvidia V100, but I removed those for debugging purposes too). Anyone have insight into the meaning of this error code?

I ended up just RMA'ing both the board and the CPU.
