OK so I flashed the wrong BIOS into my ION 330Pro.  Instead, I flashed it with ION 330 firmware.  Total user error.

So, the question is, is the BIOS chip (I believe it is a Winbond chip, which is in a socket) replaceable?  I found a company in the Netherlands who will ship me a chip.

Anyone have any thoughts or advice?  Many thanks.

It should be though you will want to get it from ASRock as it will come preflashed to the correct BIOS. A blank chip is as useless as the one with the wrong BIOS on it.

You can find the details http://www.asrock.com/support/index.asp?cat=RMA" rel="nofollow - here , a new chip is $5 + shipping.

That is fantastic news, thank you.

These nettops are a great HTPC (XBMC / Kodi) solution...too bad they aren't sold any more.  Great little units, very easy on the power bill.
