Graphic Card: ASUS GTX1060 Dual OC 6GB (stock factory OC only) And I can't OC over 3.9Ghz. Anything above that crash and restart the PC in prime95. My sets are: Overclock Mode - Manual APU/PCIE Freq Mhz - 100 CPU Freq and voltage change - Manual CPU Frequency (Mhz) - 3900 CPU Voltage (V) - 1.37500 SMT - Enabled DRAM Timing Config XMP 2.0 Profile 1: DDR4-3200 14-14-14-34 1.35V AM4 Advanced Boot Training - Auto Voltage Mode - Stable Mode CPU Vcore Voltage - Fixed Mode Fixed Voltage (V) - 1.37500 CPU Load-Line Calibration - Level 1 Fixed Voltage - 1.08750 VDDCR_SOC Load-Line Calibration - Auto CPU OVP - Disabled CPU OCP - Disabled DRAM Voltage - 1.350 VTT_DDR - 0.680 VPPM (2500V) - Auto 2.5V_PROM Voltage (2.500V) - Auto +1.8 Voltage (1.800V) - Auto VDDP (0.920V) - Auto 1.05V_PROM Voltage (1.050V) - Auto Cool 'n Quiet - disabled Core Performance Boost - disabled My personal use is Virtualization with many VMs at same time, and ocasionally some modern game. Do I need to change something to improve? Maybe a OC over 4Ghz??? By other side, my boot time are awful. Disabling "AMD Advanced Boot Training" improves post time a lot (to ~24 seconds to reach OS Deskop), but some times boot fails, and reverts my OC settings to standart. Is there a way to improve boot time and stability with AMD Advanced Boot Training DISABLED? (To improve boot time mantaining boot stability?) Why "Ultra-Fast Boot" boots directly to BIOS config again only, instead of OS? Thanx in advance. Zatanus |

Advanced boot training should always be ON, IMO. We're far from the times of well-baked AGESA, where one wouldn't need the training. As a rule, boost SOC voltage to 1.1V (or a tad more). Also, stable 4GHz (and above) is more of a luck, rather anything else. Reviewers got binned chips, meaning the latter were pre-tested to reach the 4G-mark. My general knowledge of OC-ing Ryzens is still limited, however. Maybe someone else here will help you reach the 4G. " rel="nofollow - well for starters why the frack would you disable cpu over current and over volt protection ? this is a very very silly setting to change as said 3.9 seems easy 4ghz isnt the voltage for 4ghz is also more or less always over 1.4 volts and sometimes needs quite a bit more IF ! you do get a boot at 4ghz even with 1.425 ish volts remaining stable at 4ghz is very hard to also achieve as for boot time, i have more bad news for you 4 sticks of flarex set at xmp default STILL isnt happy with amd bios settings ,this is why your boot times are taking so long the system is trying to get the ram stable in its pre boot testing this can be helped by adjusting some of the sub timings in the ram in the taichi bios and also to note the ram tweaking will probably bring more to the table than the extra 100mhz of cpu speed heres a link to the program we use to find out what settings to change for the ram http://www.overclock.net/t/1640919/ryzen-dram-calculator-overclocking-dram its been extremely helpful with all brands of ram and also helps set more stable timings on the amd flarex branded ram ------------- [url=https://valid.x86.fr/jpg250]  [/url]3800X, powercolor reddevil vega64, gskill tridentz3866, taichix370, evga750watt gold |

Thanx for the responses. I was disconnected many days ... I'll try to disable AM4 ABT with lower RAM Mhz... I chose AsRock because I wanted a PC that can start fast ... but its post times are very bad with that option activated.  |
