" rel="nofollow - X370 Taichi Ryzen 1700X EVGA 1080 Six months when I built this rig I bought and installed Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200 (CMK16X4M2B3200C16W). Booted up just fine with no post errors. However, from day one I would get BSoD and often they were Memory_Management errors. Since the Corsair memory wasn't on the QVL I decide to buy new memory to see if that A.) Fixed the crashes and B.) allowed me to actually get them to run at 3200. I bought G.Skill Flare X DDR4 3200 (F4-3200c14D-16GFX). Installed them today and on the very first boot I got 3 beeps & F9 error code. Cycles three times and then boots to OS. Contacted ASRock via email support and recieved this reply. I did everything here and still 3 beeps F9 error and I'm at my wits end. Anyone have any advice or a bios walk-through? Thanks!

" rel="nofollow - As a follow up, on the Main page of the bios UEFI it says Total Memory 16384MB Single Channel Memory Mode. Shouldn't this be Dual Channel Memory Mode?

You should install the RAM in slots A2 & B2! That's a must for dual-channel RAM! I'm rocking the exact same RAM @ 3200 XMP settings with no issues. I and at least one other member with the same mobo/RAM here, can confirm the P3.10 is stable for good RAM speeds. So, re-seat the RAM sticks in A2 & B2 (check manual), clear CMOS, reboot, flash P3.10, reboot, clear CMOS, reboot, then load XMP. Looks like I have one faulty stick. Need to RMA. Thanks for the info Zlobster, once I get working RAM I'll try 3.1 and let you know. |

Before you RMA the memory (G.Skill does great work-memory usually works), please test the slots. Try one stick, then the other in A1, then A2, etc. the bad stick/slot(s) while be obvious. I had a bad slot in my X370 board and had to RMA the board. single channel mode is more often literally just push the dam finicky ram stick down in more these new slots are terrible for installing ram correctly ,they require far more pressure than a normal person would wish to use and also do make sure ram is in slot a2/b2 i advise clearing the cmos before attempting to then boot it up,then getting into bios and making sure amd advanced boot training is set to auto ------------- [url=https://valid.x86.fr/jpg250]  [/url]3800X, powercolor reddevil vega64, gskill tridentz3866, taichix370, evga750watt gold |
