Plug everything in, lights go on including the red BIOS one but nothing shows up on the display. I'm using a DVI cable plugged into the mobo. Tried moving each stick of RAM in A1, A2, B2, and A2+B2; all resulting in no display (although I believe just A1 also resulted in no BIoS LED). The monitor just worked with my old setup so I'm skeptical that it's non-functional. Unfortunately it doesn't seem like it comes with a speaker so I can't listen for beeps.

Possibilities I can think of...

- CPU not working (although I tried unplugging the ATX 8pin and turning it on and it resulted in no BIOS light, so it leads me to believe that power connected to the CPU is having SOME effect).

- RAM not compatible (I'll look more into it but I thought it would be compatible).

- Monitor too old to use with new Mobo (it's from 2009 and native resolution is 1920x1080, don't know if that's an issue?)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

EDIT-The RAM is not specifically listed on the Memory QVL after all, does that mean it definitely won't work? It looks like a lot of similar ones are on there though...

Regarding your case, we provide some suggestion to verify.

1. Clear CMOS to load BIOS default.

Please check user manual p20 to clear CMOS.

2. Only install CPU and one stick memory to check if the system can boot into BIOS properly.

3. Please try to install one stick memory at A1, B1, A2 and B2 slot to check if the system can boot into BIOS properly.

4. Reinstall CPU and check if CPU socket pin is fine.

5. If it is possible, please change another CPU or DRAM to check if the system can boot into BIOS properly.
