" rel="nofollow - Hi,
I just build a new PC,
Motherboard: Asrock Z370 Taichi and Z370 Killer SLI/AC CPU: Intel i7 8700K (delided) Memory: GSkill trident RGB 32GB DDR4 3200 CL14 (also have used Crucial DDR4 2133 1.2V CL15 CT2K4G4DFS8213) GPU: Asus GTX1080Ti Strix PSU: Seasonic Prime Titanium 750W SSD: Samsung 850 Pro 1TB HDD: WD RED 3TB OS: Windows 10 Home 64bit
The problem that i have is that sometimes i lose control on the PC, like a hiccup or a temporary freeze (2-3 sec or so), like if its going to crash but the it comes back. I first decided to change mobo, i had another issue with the audio on the Killer SLI/AC so decided to upgrade toward the Taichi, but it has the same freezing problem, so its not the motherboard or less likely. Temps are fine, idle around 30C and load 65C the most i seen, atm the CPU is not overclocked, and the mobos are on the latest bios on the Taichi P1.40. I have also used a lower end standard ddr4 memory with the crucial above, and still have the issues.
I'm still unsure if its a driver or software or even a power setting, i have been disabling wifi, lan, audio, usb, and still have the same issue. Im including a LatencyMon 6.51 ran for 2 and half hours, also a HWmonitor in case you want to see other settings. I also have my doubts if its not the CPU itself, as it was delided maybe something inside is not working correctly like the memory controller?
