" rel="nofollow - Can someone tell me what I need to install on the motherboard in order to get the use of the thunderbolt header on the Z170 extreme7+ motherboard.  I think I need some sort of PCIE card?  Not sure at all.

The Thunderbolt header on Z170 Extreme7+ is for ASRock Thunderbolt 2 AIC.

If you want to use Thunderbolt 2 AIC, please make sure install at Z170 Extreme7+?™s PCIE3 slot.
