Hi,

I've got B650 Steel Legend Wifi board: https://www.asrock.com/MB/AMD/B650%20Steel%20Legend%20WiFi/index.asp#Overview" rel="nofollow - https://www.asrock.com/MB/AMD/B650%20Steel%20Legend%20WiFi/index.asp#Overview

I'm currently assembling the rig. I bought a single SSD NVMe and I want to install it in one of the two Gen 4 slots, which are covered by a single heat shield.
It comes with 2 thermal pads, one for each SSDs. Both are covered with a plastic strip (protective film) which has to be removed.

The question is - Am I supposed to remove both protective films if I'm currently going to install and use only one SSD? The information is nowhere to be found except that the manual describes each slot installation separately but says "protective films" in plural.

Hello!

That's the correct decision.
