" rel="nofollow - I am confused about the RAM slots on the Taichi X370 board and whether I can use all 4 RAM slots or not.  I have been to the ASRock site for the compatibility of RAM but am unsure if that is only what they tested or whether they did not test all 4 slots with that particular memory.
For instance, I have 4 sticks of G Skill Ripjaw V  (F4-3466C16D-16GVK) that ASRock says 2 sticks were tested in slots 2 and 4 (2X8GB).  I also have 2 sticks of G Skill Flash X (f4-3200C14D-16GFX)  that ASRock says 2 sticks were tested in slots 2 and 4 (2X8GB).
So can I populate all 4 slots with this memory with the 4 sticks of Ripjaw V or can I populate all 4 slots with 4 sticks (if I buy 2 more) of the Flash X?  Or am I limited to 2 stick of either memory only in slots 2 and 4 and thus have to leave slots 1 and 3 empty all the time.
I know that the Flash X has a CL of 14-14-14-34 and the Ripjaw V has the CL of 16-18-18-38 but I bet if I lower the frequency on the Ripjaw V down to 3200 that I can tighten up the CL to match that of the Flash X or even tighter.   Considering the Ripjaw V memory is $30 less expensive than the Flash X, it seems that this might be the way to go.
  Thanks for any input.
