If I buy a new Z97E-ITX I'm guessing it will have a BIOS version without Broadwell support. Will the board still boot up with an i5-5765c in order to flash the new BIOS? Or does it have to be flashed beforehand? |

I wish I could tell you either way, but I don't know. Broadwell users have not posted much in this forum, since there are only five Broadwell processors available, and three of those are Xeons. The CPU Support list for the Z97E-ITX shows UEFI/BIOS version 1.70 needed to support Broadwell processors.
