" rel="nofollow - Hi. I bought new AB350m Pro4 and 2 chassis fans - one with 4pin connector and another one with 3pin. I connect it to corresponding slots aaand i've got very noisy fan at 3pin. The cooler rotates at maximum revs. On our mobo - can we regulate speed of 3pin fan??

The fourth pin controls the speed of 12V fans using PWM signal.
If you connect a 3 pin fan it will get full 12V.

Controlling fans with 3 pins is done by lowering the voltage.

I doubt a board will do both unless there's a toggle in the settings.
