" rel="nofollow - Hi I just purchased a J4105-ITX, PicoPSU 80, Ballistix Sport LT 4GB DDR4 2400, M350 case and an SSD drive.

I installed Windows 10 home and all the drivers from the asrock support site, few issues, it performs really badly, it appears to run very slow. The SATA driver is still a Microsoft one and wondered if that wasn't helping. Ive tried both different SATA ports in-case it was storage related, no difference.

If you run a test video in 4k its so choppy, it waits then starts to play, you can't do full screen without it being really slow.

I appreciate this is early but does anyone have any advice?

Many thanks

Bit of an update, tried a another SSD, still the same issue. I can't even play iplayer properly in a browser its really choppy and at full screen almost unusable. Menus in windows are laggy, windows in general is laggy.

I read this earlier and now starting to be concerned its not upto the job  https://semiaccurate.com/2017/12/12/intel-doesnt-want-know-gemini-lake-atoms/" rel="nofollow - https://semiaccurate.com/2017/12/12/intel-doesnt-want-know-gemini-lake-atoms/

Almost given up on mine, running 2 x Ballistix Sport LT 4GB DDR4 2400 - recommended on a thread from reddit. Some features improved but not much, you can see tearing when using iplayer, itv player, jelly fish test file with VLC.

Overall its laggy to use, scrolling on webpages is a pain - so slow. I do suspect this was too early to market with basic driver support.

I also have a low end NUC and it runs alot better. I was hoping for this to be a nice HTPC to go with my LG oled55b7v. Its cost me around £360 so far all in.

Suspect I should have waited out and got something better supported, bit gutted to be honest as I held out for this because I wanted something future proof from a UHD/4k 60hz perspective.
