" rel="nofollow - I am trying to find Corsair LPX 3200 Ram that will work on (ASRock AB350 Pro4) Mobo with (Ryzen 7 1700), or (Ryzen 7 1700x).

Under the ASRock Mobo support site there are two Memory QVL List. The normal list, and the (Raven Ridge) list. I am not sure why both Ryzen Summit Ridge, and Ryzen Raven Ridge CPU's would not both be updated as compatible with 3200 ram on this mobo?

The Memory QVL (Raven Ridge) list shows Corsair LPX 3200 (CMK16GX4M2B3200C16) will work. However the other QVL Memory list does not show Corsair LPX 3200 (CMK16GX4M2B3200C16).

Is the 3200 ram with this mobo actually compatible with Summit Ridge? Should I chance buying the 3200 for this mobo, using a Ryzen 7 Summit Ridge?

 or

Should I just go with the slower Corsair LPX 2666 (CMK16GX4M2A2666C16) that is on the standard QVL Memory list?

Thank You

a its probably slightly out of date
b the raven ridge seems to actually have a slightly better memory controller
c the bios will be later ,and thus better settings for ram
d ,why the hell you pairing a 1700 with the pro4 Tongue
e consider better ram anyway ,corsair really isnt that good for ryzen
f the pro4 seems to really be let down by its bios

" rel="nofollow - I am on a tight budget and found this mobo on sale for $74, less a $20 MIR, = $54. I have not purchased the RAM, or CPU yet. I have BB gift cards to cover the cost of the CPU and RAM. That is why I am limited to Corsair RAM. Would a Ryzen 5 1600, or 1600x be better paired with this mobo? I already have Case, SSD, Corsair 650 watt PSU, and a GTX 1070ti GPU.

" rel="nofollow - 1600 is more matched mate
and for gaming the same on a 1070 as a 1700

that might give you the extra cash for ram upgrade ? maybe something from gskill or team group
