Hey guys,

Computer randomly stops working for no reason a week ago. I tried to restart it by clearing the CMOS, resetting the CPU, The motherboard LEDs light up but hitting the power button, the PC start and it is stuck a the boot with the error code 07. I am aware this error code is related to memory, so i bought a pair of 8GB memory and tried to fit them in. same issue, stuck with the error code 07. i also boot with 1 stick of RAM, nok. The only thing i guess i haven't done is trying with another PSU. I am pretty sure that my PSU is ok, i removed the GPU but nothing seems to work. At this point, I'm not sure if the mobo or CPU is dead. Any suggestions before I RMA this back to Asrock?

Thanks

betterdayz, I am not sure 07 is a memory code.  Please check your CPU carefully.  I would also open an ASRock support ticket and ask them.  Enjoy, John.

@betterdayz - if everything else fails (and I really mean everything).... try to veeeeeeeeeery carefully remove the CPU & check for bent pins & then if really everything is fine --- carefully reseat it and use the AMD tool for the screws & correct torque.
Memory-related (and PCIe-related probs e.g. too much memory reserved (not adressable by BIOS/UEFI)) can indicate a problem with bent pins.

Hello guys,

I will RMA the mobo,  i bought a mobo to check whether it was the RAM, or the CPU which was causing issue. I can confirm it was the mobo, it died!! to be honest i have no idea the reasons why.
The new mobo is the Aorus Gaming 7..Sorry it is a Asrock forum, this is just for information.

Thank you for your help.

" rel="nofollow - FYI

Just shutting off is either PSU or mem related.

Debug 7 is memory related:

thank you for the hint. In my own case, the mobo was the problem.

Quick question, I bought the mobo at newegg, but in the meantime i move to Europe (Belgium).
Do i need to send the mobo to asrock america or i can send it to a local Asrock in Europe?

Tks
