Hi,

I've already asked the ASRock support but I forgot one thing about this. Something makes a high whistling noise (almost inaudible high sound but it makes your ears bleed) canstantly and if I activate the C states there's a loud crackling/clicking noise.

Since I know that a motherboard can make noises and the support already suggested to RMA the motherboard, I'd like to know if it's possible that the CPU makes a noise. I've checked all fans, PSU, GPU and drives - they're all fine, no noise. It's clearly coming from the motherboard and is most noticable around the CPU area. I just wanna make sure I don't return working stuff and wait even longer. I'd appreciate any help. The board is a Z370 Gaming i7 with an i7 8700K.
