Hi,
I just bought a new desktop and hooked everything up.
Here is a specification of everything I bought: - https://new.webhallen.com/se/product/276258-ASRock-Z370-Extreme4-ATX-Z370" rel="nofollow - ASRock Z370 Extreme4 - ATX / Z370 - https://new.webhallen.com/se/product/274595-Intel-Core-i7-8700K-12-tradar-3-7GHz-4-7Ghz-Turbo-12MB-Socket-1151" rel="nofollow - Intel Core i7-8700K - 12 trĂ¥dar / 3.7GHz (4.7Ghz Turbo) / 12MB / Socket 1151 - https://new.webhallen.com/se/product/277912-G-Skill-Trident-Z-16GB-2x8GB-3200MHz-DDR4-CL16-F4-3200C16D-16GTZB" rel="nofollow - G.Skill Trident Z 16GB (2x8GB) / 3200MHz / DDR4 / CL16 (F4-3200C16D-16GTZB) - https://new.webhallen.com/se/product/275895-Gigabyte-GeForce-GTX-1070-8GB-Windforce-2-GV-N1070WF2OC-8GD-Rev2" rel="nofollow - Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070 8GB Windforce 2 (GV-N1070WF2OC-8GD Rev2) - https://new.webhallen.com/se/product/255464-Samsung-SSD-960-EVO-250GB-MZ-V6E250BW" rel="nofollow - Samsung SSD 960 EVO 250GB (MZ-V6E250BW) - https://new.webhallen.com/se/product/202942-Fractal-Design-Power-Supply-PSU-Integra-M-750W" rel="nofollow - Fractal Design Power Supply (PSU) Integra M 750W - https://new.webhallen.com/se/product/272060-Fractal-Design-Celsius-S36-Water-Cooling-360mm" rel="nofollow - Fractal Design Celsius S36 Water Cooling 360mm - https://new.webhallen.com/se/product/209715-Fractal-Design-Define-R5-Black-Pearl-Ej-PSU" rel="nofollow - Fractal Design Define R5 - Black Pearl (chassi)
Everything should be connected according to the manual.. When I power the system, fans start normally, the GPU fans start normally, the motherboard is lighed up but nothing happens. no sound nothing. The RAM memories are installed in A2 B2.
I get no image on the screen and I am not really sure what the problem is.
Could someone please help me out? I have been trying for three days now.
Thank you! https://new.webhallen.com/se/product/209715-Fractal-Design-Define-R5-Black-Pearl-Ej-PSU" rel="nofollow -

" rel="nofollow - I have the same problem as you. I'm getting an A2 error. Did you ever figure out what the problem was?

I did not connect power to the CPU.. it's the 8pin cable from your PSU to your MOBO, at the upper left of the CPU. It should be 8pin there, 24pin to the right of the RAM memories and 6+2pin to your GPU.

HAHA! Done it myself before - you're not alone! Was either gonna be something silly like this or the cables for front (Power On etc) weren't in or connected correctly. Least its sorted. Is a reminder to all to CHECK everything 1 by 1 when fault finding. Most of the time its something very simple.

Thanks for the reply. I tried everything, many times over. I removed all of my ram, except for one stick, used onboard video rather than my GPU, moved my m.2 drive around the motherboard, reset the CMOS five or six times, and what finally ended up working was switching from a DisplayPort cable to an HDMI cable. That's it! That's all it was. It was a pain in my butt, but I'm so excited I finally got things up and running. Excited about my new build!
