IOPs
read 276,824

How are you measuring - Samsung Magician? It says I already have the latest 3B7QCXE7 firmware installed. I only bought the device in early February.

Sequential:
  Read: 3,132 MB/s
  Write: 1,531 MB/s

Random:
  Read: 124,023 IOPS
  Write: 113,525 IOPS

Now, why did I ever bother running that test? I was happy until I did. I still am with the Sequential results but why am I only getting half your IOPS. Ouch

NVMe driver is Samsung's 2.3.0.1709 dated 12/10/2017.

I just ran it with the defaults. I literally installed it, made sure that the C: drive was selected and clicked the ALL button. Then saved the result as a text file, which I copied and pasted. My sequential figures are good but my random figures are way behind yours and the longer the queue length the worse they are, so don't feel so bad about that unwanted update Tongue

BTW, I did do a trim before starting the test.

Well, it's something to ponder and maybe tinker with if I find any clues.

Ah well.
Thing is, the Yorkshire terrier in me will just keep savaging its ankles until it gives me my scores back.
Its my ignorance that keeps me enthusiastic!!
