Hello,
I have a problem with Z370 Extreme4+I3 Core 8100 HDMI port, bios 1.30.
My Panasonic 48" TV is recognized by PC, but the image is not shown with cables longer than 5m.
I tried different cables and signal amplifiers ( https://www.monoprice.com/product%3cp_id=15650" rel="nofollow - https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=15650 ), even HDMI to Ethernet to HDMI with 10m cable that worked on my Dell laptop&Dell24"monitor.
In fact not all 5m HDMI cables are working with the TV and this Z370 Exreme4 PC.

The old 10m HDMI cable works with same TV since 4 years on my old PC with ATI video card...

I don't want to use additional video card as this is fanless HTPC. (Fans are not connected, I'm using CPU cooler only as standard attachment for heatpipe to CPU). CPU temp reads 74 deg.C after 1 hr in AIDA64 at 100% CPU+GPU load, only 40 deg.C in normal operation.

" rel="nofollow - Onboard display out implementation is notoriously touchy about cable quality and signal degradation, particularly with HDMI. Have you tried a DVI to HDMI adapter on the DVI port? The signal strength may be better from the DVI port.

Thanks!

Yes, I have tried the DVI to HDMI adapter that I'm using on the old ATI video card - the old card itself does not have HDMI, but the situation is the same, up to 5m... The ATI card is may be 10 year old.

I have purchased VGA to HDMI adapter, but I'm afraid that it will not be the same quality.

I will not play games, I need the PC for music and films, and was fascinated from technical specs of this motherboard, the sound is really nice and the temperatures are good without fans. (I'm not sure if you could see the pictures in the first post).
