          | Hello,
Today, March 8 2018, we have released BETA BIOSes that address the Wi-Fi issue some are experiencing.

 EDIT:
Note: This address Wi-Fi issues for those with Raven Ridge processors.

 Sincerely,
 wardog

 And  really? Production-grade use?

Raven Ridge was just released. When ever was a new gen processor ready for "production' use in such short time? I mean, c'mon man. Never.

          | @hifihedgehog
With issues like this it is very common for a manufacturer to release a beta BIOS to correct the issue. This is because beta BIOS testing is significantly less stringent than release version testing and allows a fix to be made available to the public much faster. Now before anyone panics about the less stringent testing, this is due to the fact that they take a release BIOS, add the fix for only that particular issue then release it. The BIOS in this instance is already known stable, the changes to correct the issue in question do not (negatively) affect stability.
The difference between a release BIOS and a Beta BIOS is typically that the beta is based on an older revision with only minor tweaks whereas a new release BIOS is often vastly changed over the previous version, with AMD this often includes updated AGESA codes and other more drastic changes. These require significantly more testing across a broad spectrum of components before release. When a major issue is found, it is most often corrected quickly via a Beta BIOS and then worked into the next release version when it is ready. This cannot be rushed, hence the need for the Beta.

          | " rel="nofollow - Hello,
 regarding AB350 Pro4:

Latest BIOS is 4.70 (released 2018/3/6), and there is also a beta 4.63 (released 2018/2/13), both at same size, 7.30MB.

 My questions are:

 1) Does 4.70 has this Wifi fix, or only the 4.63 does?
 2) This Wifi fix is for only Raven Ridge (2xxx) processors?

I ask because I have a Ryzen 5 1600 with this board and I do experience Wifi issues (Intel 7260 rev 0x144). 4.70 did not solve it for me, but I did not try 4.63. Tested different BIOS and kernel versions (Linux here); what seems to have made the most difference for me was trying out an older different firmware for the Wifi card (more details: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=234796). Might have to open an own thread in here about it.

          | I installed the P4.51 beta yesterday. I previously had P4.40. It has fixed my Sleep Mode problems, but I am still having random BSOD (DSP_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION) crashes.
I am using the AB350 Gaming-ITX/AC motherboard with a Ryzen 3 2200G. I have also changed out the WIFI card for an Intel 7265 that is used with the X370 version of this motherboard.

Another poster mentioned that the problem is different if they used 2.4GHz but I have not tried that, I am using 5GHz. I may try changing to 2.4GHz to see what difference that makes, but I'm sure it will be slower at the very least.

My build configuration is listed in my sig below.

Intel 7260 here, on an AB350 Pro4, and got issues with the Wifi. Filed a support ticket, but was ignored.

          | Well, the 7265 WiFi M.2 card I was trying to use in my AB350 mITX board wasn't working with any bios version. After putting on the L4.51A beta bios it still wasn't working. I put the 3168 WiFi M.2 card that came with the motherboard back in and no more BSOD.
I figured that the 7265 should work since it is what comes with the X370 version of the motherboard, but that appears to not be the case.

Some others are saying that they have used other WiFi M.2 cards and they work, but no one using THIS motherboard has indicated that it will work with anything other than the original 3168 WiFi M.2 card.

At least something works for you :)
The AB350 Pro4 does not come with Wifi, so I got an Asus PCIe card, with the Intel 7260, but no dice.

          | For anyone who hasn't tried it or is unaware there is a more recent driver you can try available https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25016/Intel-Network-Adapter-Driver-for-Windows-10%3cproduct=64404" rel="nofollow - HERE . The driver version is 23.1. Why the LAN driver? Over the years on more than several occasions I've found wifi issues not being caused by the wifi driver but the LAN driver, I don't know why this is but it has been the case on a fair few occasions. I'd also recommend people look for newer drivers for their wifi devices on http://drivers.softpedia.com/manufacturers/" rel="nofollow - Softpedia and the https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Home.aspx" rel="nofollow - Microsoft Update Catalog .

          | Most BIOSes are customized AMI software (American Megatrends Inc.), so I wouldn't exactly say "own". But proprietary, yes. It's the same reason why gaming studios cripple their games for paying customers by using Denuvo: to protect their property. Whether that's reasonable or not, is another topic. |

Really Funny !!
It's been month now and problem still their !! so this is the last time buying a junk from junk company??

          | I tried to find an answer from Asrock support twice. Both times no answer and is related to an issue found on the internet multiple times which means that it is something frequent and more of Asrock mobo issues. I didn't contact the retailer as they cannot provide this level of information and because I found this issue multiple times on the internet.
The issue is related to booting. The computer boots without screen and the keyboard and mouse both are not on (both have light). I have to shut down once or more times until it starts normally. Because my case has a small window I can see that video card light is on (is a 1060 Founders Ed) and the cooler and fans spinning.

The second issue I mentioned in my tickets is the fact that every time I try to open the Masterkey Fatality program Windows 10 crashes (blue screen).

          | I forgot to mention that I have also issues with both LAN and WiFi connections after the system goes in idle/sleep.
So probably it can be a hardware issue and only the retailer can save us by replacing the motherboard with an Asrock or ... other brands :) .

          | Thanks for sharing what turned out to be the problem, I will make note of it as something to have people check should they have the same issue in future. There
is no need to feel bad for being angry with a problem. While yes, it is best to
be polite and friendly on a forum, most people on tech forums understand when
someone goes off at something that has been giving them a hard time

 Enjoy your system
