New to forum - Hello all
About to build new system with Nova MB and 9800X3D.
BIOS number printed on MB is 3.06 and bios required for 9800x3D is 3.10.
Question is will the system boot with 9800X3D installed?
Or is a thumb drive BIOS update required prior to 9800x3D installation?

From Asrock tech support:

3.06 version bios allow you to get system to POST.
Once you get the screen display. You can flash the bios to 3.10.
