I upgraded to bios 3.30-4.60 on my X370 Taichi. The bios is prime stable for me and has increased my overclock over the 3.20 bios. I was locked in at 3.9G now I can hit 4.1. I really can't say enough good things about this bios my SSD speeds are up too. I am going to try 4.2 tomorrow, I always assumed I had a good chip because it runs so cool, never goes over 58C when running prime95. My only wish was it would have included the Spectre fix I ran a tool from GRC.com and from another site and it still shows I am vulnerable. I have all Windows patches installed. If your on the fence about this bios I hope this helps you make up your mind up to upgrade. The work on Spectre mitigation is an ongoing task. I think it will be a while before it's anywhere near fixed. Remember that there are two variants and one of them is especially tricky.
Edit: I just ran InSpectre (release 6b) to test. I am on Windows 10 (Fall creators update) Version 10.0.16299.248 bios settings Turn off global C6 state CPU core 1.42V VDDCR_SOC 1.15 VDDP 1.15v I use XMP profile pc3200 setting for the Gskill flarex pc 3200 ram. In my original statement I stated I was at 4.1 and going to try 4.2. There are no performance gains in games over 4.0 G so I am going to work on lowering the voltage on the cpu. I would be happy if I can get it to 1.35. I have my own sound card so I do disable HDsound and DR debug
