Subject: X370 Taichi BIOS 4.60 no NVME boot

" rel="nofollow - My system:
X370 Taichi, 2x8GB hynix based RAM 3200 CL16, 256GB NVME boot drive, 256GB SSD, 2x2GB (mirrored) disks, a 5TB steam library, and GTX 970 GPU.

- I have been running BIOS 3.30 stable for a long time.
- I flashed BIOS 4.6 successfully.
- But now the system cannot find a boot disk.
- UEFI does list the disk in the storrage section, but not as a choice for booting.
- I did disconnect all other disks (that fixed flash for 3.30) - no boot disk.
- I did disconnect everything but one monitor, keyboard, mouse - no boot disk.

I reverted to BIOS 3.30 - everything works.

Thoughts?

" rel="nofollow - During the boot process, when given the Fx Key choice and upon choosing this drive, does it boot then?

I do not get a choice.  I get the standard message saying to insert a boot device.  When I open the UEFI the NVME drive is listed in the storage section, but is not listed anywhere in the boot tab.

Maybe I don't understand the "Fx Key choice".  Exactly what does that mean?

" rel="nofollow - So do I need to call/email official support?  If so, how do I do that?  I would really like to update the BIOS again.
