" rel="nofollow - So I just bought the 2400g and AB350 itx combo from newegg. The page gloats about being Ryzen 2000 series ready. Additionally, the motherboard box comes with a sticker saying it's ryzen 2000 ready.
Guess what?
My motherboard still needs to be updated.
Symptoms: No video output, no beeps, no keyboard lights, just fan spinning and led light for 10-15 seconds, power off for two seconds, and then another attempt to boot.
How disappointing. I paid for express shipping to get a product for a deadline, no I have to tell my the person I'm doing this build for that "there are technical difficulties and I am waiting on a part to come in"
Yeah, that sounds professional. Great. /sarcasm
Full specs: Node 202 with 450 PSU Asrock Fatal1ty AB350 Gaming ITX AC Ryzen 2400g 2x4gb DDR4 3200mhz G skill Ripjaws Intel SSD
TLDR: Asrock, Whoever is putting these Ryzen 2000 ready stickers on: FIRE THEM!
Thanks. Alex

Please contact ASRock Tech Support:
https://event.asrock.com/tsd.asp
Let them know your symptoms, full system specs and the serial number of the motherboard. They will sort it out. It would be good if you also provide the link to this thread.
I will additionally send an email to my contacts at ASRock (on Monday when they are in office) informing them of your issue so you should get prompt assistance. These kinds of mix-ups are rare but need to be dealt with. The serial number on the board will probably be logged along with the details of it's update.
It is also possible that the retailer mixed things up somehow, check to make sure the serial number on your board matches the one on the packaging. Sometimes retailers get product returns and do not check them properly before putting them back in inventory. Unlikely with Newegg but worth checking.
I feel for you, there is nothing worse than having a deadline pass you by because of a problem that shouldn't have occurred ![Angry Angry](smileys/smiley7.gif)
If you are in a major hurry and have access to a CPU to update with please let me know so I know what to tell my contacts. I have been in your shoes many times, though so far, never with ASRock products. While I am a moderator here we moderators are not employed by ASRock. We have close contact with them and can, on occasion, act as intermediaries to get things moving.

" rel="nofollow - OP, can you take a look at the BIOS chip on the motherboard and see what revision it is?

I have exactly the same problem, also the great compatible sticker on the box... Tried everything, switch Ram, power supply, add dedicated graphics card - no image.
So I'm going to buy an last gen Ryzen and send it back just to do the bios update. Wow.

Can you post some specs? And take a look at the BIOS chip on the motherboard and tell the rev?

I have literally seen customers switch motherboards around in the boxes at Micro Center, so be especially careful.

I'm getting the exact same issue/behavior as the OP. BIOS sticker says P4.4, and box also says Ryzen 2000 ready. Not impressed.

That is not necessary.
AMD will send you a processor to flash with and when finished you simply return it.

To everyone who posts below this post.
Include your motherboard's Serial Number.
I will delete any posts that do not have the Serial Number included.

For the record, my situation has zero to do with New Egg. I've also created a support ticket but just in case:
Serial: 81M0XB137362
It is not posting, no video, etc. Only the CPU and Chassis fans are turning on. I stripped out everything and all connections down to the bare minimum just to see and same results. Only things left on the MB are the speaker, power switch, and RAM also with same results.
It was purchased here in Japan from Amazon. The sticker on the BIOS is showing P4.40
It doesn't appear to be a flashing issue as I believe this BIOS version should support the Ryzen 2400g that I'm using.
Thanks, Ray

#Update
ASRock Fatal1ty AB350 Gaming-ITX/ac Serial on the Box: 7AM0XB455058 Purchased from mindfactory.de (Germany) on March 22.
https://twitter.com/LeoWinterDE/status/977876503663972353" rel="nofollow - Take a look at my board. The sticker with P3.10, that's the bios version/chip, right? I don't know what the serial number is on the board, but there's no match with the box.

Thanks I know, but it probably takes longer than a new express purchase.

So, as I suspected, all boards that legitimately carry the "Raven Ridge Ready" sticker have been updated and tested by ASRock. If you have one of these boards (matching serial numbers to the packaging) then your issue is elsewhere, likely RAM compatibility. Please test with other RAM to verify, make your own thread here on the forums and we will do our best to help you through troubleshooting steps.
Now if you have tested RAM and all other components and the system still will not post then there is always the small chance that you have a damaged board, what happens in shipping and handling is beyond the control of manufacturers but this is why warranty exists.
If your board and serial number do not match, speak with your distributor and inform them of the situation, it is their responsibility to correct their mistake. If they are unable/unwilling to assist you then you can open a support ticket with ASRock or, contact AMD and request a "Boot Kit". AMD will send you a CPU to update your UEFI with.
Any users other than the original poster, please make your own thread and we will help you there. This is not an issue caused by mislabeling of Raven Ridge Ready products.
@starfox5194, My contacts at tech support tell me that your issue could not be a non-ready board. If there is an issue, it is either with another component or the board was damaged somehow. In either situation we (moderators) and ASRock are eager to help you resolve the issue.

Thread is Locked.
This is not an issue of incompatible BIOSes when a sticker is present on the outside of the box, or the sticker over the BIOS chip is supportive of Bristol processors.
