" rel="nofollow - Playing around with CPU fan profile in BIOS H/W Monitor, there are: 4 Temp/Fan % entries and one called Critical.
I assume that Critical is where the CPU fan goes to 100%, is this correct ?.
The new boards BIOS section of the manual does not explain those settings very well and
my previous board has similar but labeled a bit differant with the 5th entry labeled as 100%.

Dear Badbri,

Thank you for choosing ASRock.

Regarding your question, the critical temperature is the temperature when the fan speed will start running at 100%.

Thank you!

Yours truly,

ASRock TSD
