Subject: ASRock AB350 Pro4 no video output

New build pc, with a Ryzen 2200G processor and Ballistix Sport LT BLS8G4D240FSC 8 GB. 750w PSU. The fans come on but there is no video output (from the GTX 670 which is definately working). Fans stop after 20 seconds then automatically restart.
- It is not the ram, that is clicked into place properly. - The monitor and cables have been tested as working.
Any help is appreciated, bar the graphics card the internal components are all new so should not be at issue.
EDIT: (also tried) Changing the CLR_CMOS jumper, as per the manual, when the system and motherboard are completely unpowered (which obviously has no effect, because no power).

Whoops, PSU is Corsair CX750, no O/S yet as it doesn't boot, and there's also a 120GB SSD, this is blank. The PSU is less than a year old. Not sure what else I can give. I've not put it in a case as of yet.

I've put some stuff in my signature, but if you can help you need to read my posts. It's a brand new board which doesn't boot to bios. So therefore, it's the original bios which comes with the motherboard, the motherboard make is in the topic title, and the exact ram model number is described in the first post. The SSD is just a normal kingston 120GB SSD drive not an M2 one.

without knowing which BIOS it is hard to say what might be wrong...... but if the BIOS is too old, it would give the error you have.... Try booting into BIOS and see what revision you have, or see if there is a sticker on the BIOS chip

That to me, from a distance, as if it is going through Memory Training.
Have you let it repeat this and allowed it to cycle 6-8 times?
Also, as you have a single 8GB stick of mem, place it in(meh I forget it's Easter) A2 or B2. Remember to clear the BIOS every time you move that stick from one slot to the other prior to booting.
I just looked. Crucial states that PN is compatible.
The monitor? You do have he proper input selected on it, right? See that one many times here. Buys a new system, yet the monitor is set to input on the VGA.

Sorry, but you're just not getting it. The PC doesn't actually turn on (well the fans but theres no video output). So there's no way i can do anything with the bios.

- 2nd Slot (A2) for single dual rank stick.- I removed the battery after moving it earlier (left the battery out for 20 minutes) - My monitor is one of those "classic" ones that has only one input, haha. - I've left it doing its on-off cycle, but currently it's been about 20 minutes and nothings happening.
Update: Still no dice after about 30 minutes, is that more than enough time?

To be honest - it sounds like you don't have the RAM plugged in completely. Same thing happened to me when I built my machine using this board and it exhibited the exact same behavior. Make sure that your RAM is FIRMLY installed in the slot (you do actually have to apply a decent amount of pressure until it clicks into place)

It's clicked in at both ends and I've applied as much pressure as i can without likely damaging some components. I've raised an asus ticket to try and figure this out fully. I really don't know what else to try!

" rel="nofollow - I've additional information. All the signs are pointing towards the memory. However, I have now also tried booting with no memory. It doesn't appear to make any difference, so the memory is not the problem. The power turns off still, so that literally leaves three components... the mobo, the CPU or the PSU. The PSU is fine, and the other pieces are new. But from extensive googling, I found that someone found their CPU cooler was not on correctly, when screwing in my standard wraith cooler, I got these incredibly loud clicking noises and was not really sure if the screws were in all the way or I was about to break something, however, I've just watched this video: (skip to the 5th minute)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9VtH0EJRyAc
And the guy screws in his cooler, and there are no loud clicks at all. Has anyone else observed this behavior?

Directly above PCIE1, there is a sticker over the BIOS chip. What is displayed on the sticker?

Get yourself a MB speaker You need one on it to diagnose.
I want to know if the beeps change with and w/o mem installed.

Theres no "2000 ready" sticker on the mobo box. The bios battery has CR2032 Newsun Lithium Battery. The "bios rom" chip has P3.30 written on it.

I found that page, it's got AMD 2200g on the list, so it should be compatible? After all, it's AM4, the motherboard is AM4 compatible?

Sheeeesh....... I told you earlier on it sounded like an old BIOS. and you just wailed at me.. OK... now we know whats wrong......... the MB IS compatible with the 2200 BUT. it needs a later BIOS to run it............. so you have options. Get a boot kit from AMD. Get a summit ridge-Bristol ridge APU and update the bios so it will then take the 2200......
