" rel="nofollow - Hello, did anyone try to use the motherboard j4205-itx as a web server under Debian for example?

I was wondering if the cpu was enough responsive to handle multiple HTML sites and maybe one SQL database?

Currently running one with 16Gb RAM, 120Gb SSD boot drive and 8TB ZFS data drives. Hosting multiple website, a few MySQL database servers, an NFS server, a Minecraft server and 2 DNS servers (all in seperate LXD containers) with a host OS of Ubuntu 16.04 absolutely fine.

I also had a single 64 bit Windows 7 KVM running (4Gb RAM) temporarily along side the LXD containers without any issues.

Hope this helps

I have not personally used the J4205 ITX motherboard for a web server under Debian as of yet but it ought to meet your particular needs. The Intel J4205 processor is quad-core and typically handles lightweight server tasks well. In particular & if you optimize your setup and keep an eye on resource usage; it should function well enough for multiple HTML sites and a small SQL database.
