good afternoon
after updating from BIOS 7.20 to 7.30
at any up bclk skylake i5-6400
the system refuses to start
SkyOK also does not work.
Any change in the bus frequency above 100 does not allow the system to load
I had to return to 7.20

on version 7.20 stable operation on the bclk 163Mhz = 4400Mhz
on version 7.30 does not start with a bclk higher than 103 Mhz

As for your issue, I am pretty sure you will find it is common to all boards that received the "fix" from intel. Intel killed BCLK overclocking on the 8 and 9 series boards (H81, B85, H87/h97) and even went so far as to get Microsoft to help them do it through the OS too, just to stump people who didn't update their BIOS in order to retain "Sky OC" (BCLK overclocking). Intel does not like people getting around the restrictions of their chipsets. If a chipset does not officially support overclocking intel will do everything they can to enforce it.

ASRock has fought hard against that kind of restriction but in the end, intel always gets it's way. Your best bet is to stick with the BIOS version that gave you the results you want. If you have overly sensitive data and feel you absolutely need the fix then you will be stuck with stock or close to settings. This is beyond manufacturer control, these restrictions are put in place by intel.
