" rel="nofollow - i have a z170 pro 4 and i cant seem to be able to disable my on board graphics, or so i think. i still show roughly 2 out of 8 gigs not available, i can only assume thats from the onboard graphics. any ideas? |

The most onboard video can use is 1Gb when enabled. Open Task Manager and check Performance, look at Total, Cached and Available. There is probably a 1Gb+ diff if you add cached to available, the difference is the OS running in memory. The cached is from all the startups and apps running requesting additional ram.
