daytonb, you are so lucky !!!! 3466 is already so beyond 2666 original spec and yet able to run at CAS14 so low....... below JEDEC 2133 CAS15.

SUPERB !!!!

I'll be posting my partial success/failure in another post, give it a good laugh then help me out ;).

" rel="nofollow - mate as i said in other thread i'll try and help you out with the corsair ram

but its the budget crappy part of your otherwise very very nice system

you have no idea how much its strangling your vega64

and speed isnt always the best results its also timings
here you go watch mindblanks little demostration

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S6yp7Pi39Z8

with vega and ram with different latencies vs speed

This is the best I can do to date:

This is on a X370 Taichi using the 3.00 BIOS.

My RAM is rated to 3200 MHz, so this is technically an overclock which I'm happy about.

I can get the RAM to run at 3466 MHz with 14/14/14 timings but it's not 100% stable using HCI memtest.

Well, after my last post I decided to check out the new version of the Ryzen DRAM Calculator, specifically version 1.1.0 beta 2, and try some of the values it produces.

This new version produces values that are more compatible with my RAM and I've been able to get 3466 MHz now running with tighter timings as follows:

This is using a voltage of 1.37 in BIOS, which shows as 1.392 in HWiNFO.

Now to try some further timings. Big smile
