 My setup is as follows:

 Intel 7800x CPU
Asus Tuf Mark II X299 Motherboard
 Asus 1070Ti Video card
Corsair Vengeance 2400 Memory cards  8GB X4 Kit
 Evo 250GB 960 M.2  X1  OS drive
 Evo 500GB 960 M.2  x2  Raid drives
WD 4TB  Sata drive  x1  Storage
 Corsair HX850  Power Supply.

Thank you in advance for your help.

I do not know for sure but since your cpu has only 28 pcie lanes it would have to be in the main pcie slot, only cpu with 44 lanes support cards like that in secondary pcie 16x slots.

the number of PCI lanes isn't the most important part here, but if the motherboard supports splitting a PCIe slots into 4/4/4/4 as that's what the ASRock M.2 card needs, similar to the Asus M. 2 card.

I know the Asus Prime Deluxe supports it... Check the manual
