I have the 16GB (2x8GB) Patriot Vipers DDR4 3000MHz memory sticks. My model number matches exactly what's on ASRocks QVL Memory List for Raven Ridge but they threw in a little twist for some of these chips. There are extra numbers, following the model number itself, in parentheses that have nothing at all to do with the model number.

My kit only boots up @ 2133MHz if I leave everything up to the BIOS. How do I confirm those numbers in parentheses for my specific memory kit with model number PV416G300C6K? How is ASRock confirming this?

Please help, thanks!

" rel="nofollow - What voltage does your kit set for memory when loading the XMP profile, 1.2V or 1.35V?

IIRC, all the XMP settings are @ 1.35V on these memory sticks. I'm pretty sure I'm right because it's always in the color "red".

Okay, I'm noticing something interesting that has me asking myself new questions. Here is my set of memory sticks on ASRocks QVL list for Raven Ridge:

Okay, so in the last column, entitled, "OC" it says V on my set of memory sticks. NOW, my question IS, does that mean OC by the XMP profile @ 1.35V? Or does it mean go even "beyond" that 1.35V, like OC'ing the motherboard or SoC voltage?

I'm running stable @ 2800MHz @ 1.35V right now. So, I'm pretty happy although it's only been a little over a day, I feel confident in the stability this time. However, if I can get up to 2933MHz stable I would like to get there.
