" rel="nofollow - Hi ASRock guys,

ASUS and MSI already issued bios updates to AGESA 1002a which fixes microstuttering issues with the 2200G/2400G APU's - when can we expect this to be released for the AB350/X370 ASRock boards ?

Greets.

The UEFI's with 1.0.0.2a should come next month for all AM4 boards

You're basing that on what?

So have Gigabyte. ASRock need to hurry up, especially when you consider the severity and number of problems with AGESA 1.0.0.1a.

I'am basing that on the ASRock UEFI release schedule of all AM4 boards, there is usually a UEFI every month or every two months and not more, so if 4.60 was released this week next UEFI should be next month.
So have Biostar for the matter, indeed its slow, but next month is can be at the start or at the end of it.

Its damn slow since this is a dealbreaker of a fix. Its not minor, its major. :(

Hi guys,

Agesa 1002a have some issues. We have not update plan.
But you can use Raven CPU with new bios. Should be no problem.

What about Ryzen+ Pinnacle Ridge support?, Must wait AGESA 1.0.0.3?

" rel="nofollow - Pinnacle Ridge is supported starting with AGESA PinnaclePI 1.0.0.1 or even 1.0.0.0 (not that widespread), 1.0.0.2a is just optimized code for Raven Ridge GPU/CPU power management and a few memory optimisations.

Raven Ridge has support starting with AGESA RavenPI 1.0.7.0 (Old code based on SummitPI) and PinnacleRidge with AGESA PinnaclePI 1.0.0.0 (full re-write of the AGESA, not based on old Branch of SummitPI, Raven Ridge being a 2nd gen CPU was also merge into PinnaclePI AGESA)

PS: ASRock never used the AGESA RavenPI code, they jumped from SummitPI straight to PinnaclePI
Cheers

No changes are expected for Summit Ridge and Pinnacle Ridge CPU in AGESA 1.0.0.2, they target Raven Ridge bugs

On the matter, Raven Ridge is unusable in gaming or apps which load both CPU and GPU at the same time, should have released UEFI with 1.0.0.2a even with minor bugs than no release at all, it cant get any worse than current 1.0.0.1a UEFI's (or can it?)
I hope they also fix the over 10 bugs I reported with current UEFI's for the AB350 ITX and X370 ITX
