" rel="nofollow - I just received my m.2 NVME drive today and ran into a wall trying to even install Windows 10 on it. Now I read your post and checked to verify and you're right. No m.2 drives to be found on the QVL. What are the boot issues that you mentioned? Was there an official statement? I'm not willing to sit on an expensive Motherboard that has it's capabilities removed due to a mess up on the manufacturer side. |

Well that's a relief. And you putting it like that makes sense. I did follow that guide to the letter but still something prevents me from installing Windows 10 on an ADATA ASX7000NP m.2 NVME drive. I can see the drive in the BIOS, I choose the EFI entry of my USB drive in the boot menu and get all the way to where you choose drives and format them just before hitting install. The M.2 Drive is visible there as well but when I select the drive to format it there's a split second of what seems to be the system trying to format the drive but then it just jumps to the top entry of the drives available. When I scroll down to the M.2 drive it's still unallocated space. No error message. Nothing. It's really quiet strange to me. |

I was LOL'ing reading you two. Jeremiah, what MB are you using? And what BIOS is currently flashed to it? System specs please. Also, this is with just the one ADATA M.2 connected as far as drives go, correct?

Don't think you'll need more info hardware wise but for completion sake I'm using a 1700x and GSKIll TridentZ 3200 Memory. And the M.2 was in fact not the only drive connected. I also have 2 Samsung SATA SSDs connected. Is that a thing with M.2? Having to have only the M.2 drive connected for Windows install? First time setting up M.2 for me. |

Windows exhibits nasty behavior when installing with more than one drive attached. Try installing with only the M.2 in place and reply back. And no. It isn't a M.2 issue. |

as above just connect the nvme to install windows (and my personal opinion is , use an earlier bios than the 4x versions if you dont need to support 2nd gen ryzen) at present it seems less hair loss results from bios versions 3x with the first gen ryzen ------------- [url=https://valid.x86.fr/jpg250]  [/url]3800X, powercolor reddevil vega64, gskill tridentz3866, taichix370, evga750watt gold |
