Hi
I have Asrock X370 Gaming K4 with AMD Ryzen 1600x. I wanted to know if there is any news about spectre patch for the CPU. I tried to search it on the internet but i did not found anything. Can anyone here point me in the right direction or give any news about release.

I believe you need at least three things (this is for Windows 10):

1 - Microcode version 8001137 for your Summit Ridge CPU
    2 - Update KB4093112 installed on Windows 10
3 - Some manual additions to the windows registry

For:
1 - Download HWiNFO, run it, en check the number behind µCU

If it is not at least 8001137 you need a BIOS update.

2 - See https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4093112/windows-10-update-kb4093112" rel="nofollow - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4093112/windows-10-update-kb4093112

3 - Type the following in CMD (as Administrator):

reg add "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management" /v FeatureSettingsOverride /t REG_DWORD /d 64 /f

reg add "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management" /v FeatureSettingsOverrideMask /t REG_DWORD /d 3 /f

" rel="nofollow - So x399 is screwed for Spectre as long as they take their time releasing that BIOS?
