Sorry no clue. Is why my case (Corsair 200R) does not have a see-thru side panel just for such things plus none of my friends care what the insides look like.

after updating bios to 3.10 version red LED magically dissaperaed for me Tongue

Same thing happened here.  Can someone confirm if there's a new option somewhere in 3.10 that lets you select whether the LED is on or off? Cause mine turned off after updating to 3.10.

Mine did not turn off after the update to 3.1, I did find another thread on the subject of the light.  The answer from support was to enable s4/s5 deep sleep found in the chipset settings of the bios.  That will turn the light off when you shutdown the machine but it comes right back on during boot.  Frustrating and stupidly useless light!
