" rel="nofollow - I cannot let my RAM (F4-3200C16D-16GVKB) speed to 3200MHz in the XMP 2.0 profile.
It fails to boot 3 times and can only run at 2933MHz.
Is there any way I can get this RAM to run at a higher clock?
Thanks

Dear Adelos,

Greetings, this is ASRock TSD.

Please know that the memory OC ability is also depended on the memory and CPU margin, so it is hard for MB vendor to guarantee this point.

This is why we list the QVL for user reference the expected OC ability of each memory module.

However, we still provide some suggestions for verifying:

1. Please enter to the BIOS setup and then press [F9] to load BIOS default setting in advance.

2. In OC Tweaker tab, please load XMP profile for your memory module firstly.

3. Adjust the DRAM frequency manually to around 3066 (higher than 2933 for a level). (This step is mainly to avoid the memory overclock to a unaffordable frequency and cause system no post)

4. Press [F10] to save the setting and exit.

If system is able to power on and works stably, please enter to BIOS setup and then adjust a higher DRAM frequency level to try.
Repeat above steps to find out the OC limit of your memory module.

Thanks!

All the best,
ASRock TSD

or answer B

your ram kit dosnt have the samsung b dies ( 3200 cl16 gskil dosnt in any range)

so to get a chance of 3200 cl16 from these sticks please google 'ryzen ram calculator' a program created by a chap named 1usmus run the program follow all suggested settings and subtimings and stand a decent chance of obtaining 3200 cl16 stable
