" rel="nofollow - I have a Z370 Killer SLI/AC board, and my RGB strip is dim when plugged into the motherboard header vs when it is plugged into the PSU. IS this a software issue, or an issue with the rgb header?

Dear Kingkunji123,

Thank you for choosing ASRock.

ASRock Z370 Killer SLI/AC has an RGB LED header support total up to 12V/3A, 36W LED Strip.

Please install the ASRock RGB LED utility and check if the LED strip can flash.

I already had the software installed. Through more troubleshooting, I realized the problem was that I had too much power draw on the motherboard. When I unplugged a few fans(I have 5) the strip became brighter. With all the fans and the strip plugged in, the strip dimmed and the fans slowed down a little.
