" rel="nofollow - So I have not built a PC in a very long time and decided I wanted to play fortnite but did not want to console game could never do it.  Anyways.  I am trying to get the most out of my build and every month or so am slowly adding to it over time.  I would like some input on which areas to upgrade first for better performance so I can prioritize my money spending.  Also I do have a few issues and would like some opinions.

The main issue actually is every so often (sometimes weeks) my PC will seemingly freeze into a solid green screen.  It has done it probably 4 times since I built this roughly 2 to 3 months ago.  When it has happened during a game I can continue to hear sound sometimes but the PC is unresponsive I have to manually shut down.

I only OCed the iGPU to 1500 temps seems fine in HWinfo.  I did not touch the actual CPU I recall reading somewhere I may want to set this manually to a speed if left by default it fluctuates?

Knowing what I know now I would of done more research into my ram before building what I have (see SIG) Should I upgrade RAM to two 8gb modules of some b-die ? (If so please recommendations) or invest in a 1060 6gb first (saw one on sale for 229.00 EVGA single fan one)  Do I need to upgrade my PSU?

What would you guys do if you just built this system and wanting to optimize it for FPS games?

Thank you for any and all help.

RMA the board. It's faulty. Same issues many other people. No fix.
Dont's waste time / money in parts. First, try with other model of MB.
