I have a P67 Extreme4 Gen3, and the XFast LAN utility has been asking me to update it for what seems like years now. I can't update it on the official cFos website, since it basically tells me to go to Asrock's website. Well, looking at this motherboard, there hasn't been an update to this utility since like 2012, and there doesn't appear to be an update available anywhere on the site either. The only updates I find seem to be made for different motherboards, so I don't dare to install them in case they are optimized for a different mobo.
So, how do I go about updating it? Or does Asrock screw over customers after a year or two and don't update their software?

I highly doubt the XFast LAN driver has been modified or optimized at all for a different board. Your board's Realtek RTL8111E LAN chip is the only thing that is affected by the XFast LAN utility.
It is true that XFast LAN software is also available for different LAN chips. If this software will work with any LAN chip in general, I don't know. It would not install if it would not work with the LAN chip on a board.
A similar LAN chip to yours, is the Realtek RTL8111GR, used on the Z97 Extreme6 board. The XFast LAN software for that chip may work with yours.
Since we have no idea what OS you use, the best I can do is provide a link to that board's general download page:

The XFast LAN software prioritizes different types of data being downloaded at nearly the same time. It cannot increase the download speed of your ISP and router, but just chooses which requests are sent out first when several are waiting, and moves higher priority incoming data to the front if multiple data downloads are waiting to be processed.
